Interesting Difference: Resume, C.V. And Bio Data
Resume
is a French word meaning „summary“.
A resume ideally is a summary of your education, skills and
employment history. It should be 1 or at the max 2 pages long.
C.V. (Curriculum Vitae = latin, meaning „course of life“)
Is more detailed than the resume, generally 2 to 3 pages or longer, depending on how much data you have. It indicates your professional experience.
Bio data
Bio Data is short for Biographical. In a bio data, the focus is on personal particulars, like date of birth, gender, religion, race, nationality, residence, marital status, and the like.
