So let's learn to use the most important TOOL for spelling:
The internationally used spelling alphabet of the ICAO (Intenational Civil Aviation Organisation) - often called the NATO phonetic alphabet.
This alphabet - more accurately known as the International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet, is the most widely used spelling alphabet.
Why learn this?
Many letters are often confused (g,j / a,e,i) or mispronounced which makes spelling more a lottery than a precise tool. This alphabet uses internationally understandable words - and you can easily spell out what your telephoning partner needs to write down.
